Transport from Girona airport:


The taxi rank is located at the exit of the airport. The distance is 33 km and the cost is 48 euros (aprox.) per journey. There may be a supplement for luggage, holidays or night services.


The bus stop is located next to the arrivals terminal. You should take a Barcelona Bus to Girona Station and then another one from Moventis/Sarfa to Platja d'Aro. The hotel is 1.5 km from the Bus Station.

By car

Leaving the airport, take the C-25 road towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols- Platja d'Aro. At Cassà de la Selva, take road C-65 towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols-Platja d'Aro. When you arrive to Santa Cristina d'Aro, continue on the C-31 towards Platja d'Aro. Take exit 314 towards GI-662 to town centre. You will enter through Avinguda Castell d'Aro. At the second roundabout, take the first exit on Carrer Juli Garreta, until you reach a roundabout, take the first exit at Avinguda S'Agaró. Continue on Avenida S'Agaró and at the first roundabout take the third exit onto Carrer San Sebastià, turn right onto Calle Onze de Setembre. A few meters, turn right into Pasaje Bolívar. Climatisation and water


Impossible to adjust the clim. The room was always at 18 degrees. No hot water after 8 AM.

Regarding the air conditioning system, we would like to inform you that it is centralized and can be turned on and off from the rooms for your convenience. However, temperature regulation is not possible from the rooms. If the 18-degree climate proved uncomfortable, we encourage you to turn off the air conditioning to adjust the temperature to your personal preference. As for the issue with hot water supply after 8 AM, I want to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We are aware of intermittent problems with the boiler, which occasionally shuts off. Our staff is diligently working to detect these interruptions and restore hot water supply as quickly as possible. Your comfort is our priority, and we are taking measures to permanently resolve this issue. We value your feedback as it helps us improve our services and ensure a more satisfying experience for our guests. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to address these issues. Hotel aceptable


Excepto el olor a comida en el lobby del hotel y el precio demasiado alto para un hotel de 3 estrellas.

Lo único que echado en falta una salida de estar o saloncito para tomar un café o cops

Vacanza in famiglia


Conoscevo già l hotel Monterrey per una vacanza trascorsa molti anni prima a Playa de Aro. Ho trovato un hotel rinnovato in meglio nella sala ristorante e nella camera con bagno nuovissima, peccato l inserimento della brandina e non si un letto come terzo letto, buono il cibo, sempre molto vario, a volte un po troppo elaborato, avrei preferito una maggiore varietà di verdure e le carote grattugiate al momento. Posizione non proprio centrale ma in una zona tranquilla e a due passi dal mare. Simpatica l animazione. Una nota di merito va al responsabile di sala sempre cortese, sorridente e super efficiente come del resto i suoi collaboratori, educati e veloci, non da meno il resto del personale dell hotel. C è sicuramente un margine di miglioramento sulla pulizia della stanza e sulla biancheria da bagno. Peccato che non parlino l italiano. Nel complesso è stata una bella vacanza, ringrazio tutto lo staff.

Estada poc confortable


Ens va sobtar que haguèssim de pagar 2 euros no retornables per guardar lequipatge i que shagi de pagar 15 euros per entrar habitacio, ja disponible, abans de les dues. El menjar correcte,les habitacions confortables i adequades, el personal del bar un deu, lanimació de lhotel no existeix, els lavabos de la piscina estaven poc nets i acollidors. No crec que hi tornem. Qualitat preu no adequada.
