Transport from Girona airport:


The taxi rank is located at the exit of the airport. The distance is 33 km and the cost is 48 euros (aprox.) per journey. There may be a supplement for luggage, holidays or night services.


The bus stop is located next to the arrivals terminal. There is no direct line from Girona airport to Platja de Aro. To get to Platja d'Aro, you have to take a bus from the Barcelona Bus company to Girona station, and then take another bus from the company Moventis/Sarfa to Platja d'Aro. At Platja d'Aro the bus has 2 stops, one is at the taxi rank and the other at the bus station. The best option is the bus station. From the bus station to the Hotel Monterrey there is 1.5 km distance.

By car

Leaving the airport, take the C-25 road towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols- Platja d'Aro. At Cassà de la Selva, take road C-65 towards Sant Feliu de Guíxols-Platja d'Aro. When you arrive to Santa Cristina d'Aro, continue on the C-31 towards Platja d'Aro. Take exit 314 towards GI-662 to town centre. You will enter through Avinguda Castell d'Aro. At the second roundabout, take the first exit on Carrer Juli Garreta, until you reach a roundabout, take the first exit at Avinguda S'Agaró. Continue on Avenida S'Agaró and at the first roundabout take the third exit onto Carrer San Sebastià, turn right onto Calle Onze de Setembre. A few meters, turn right into Pasaje Bolívar. Belle surprise


Nous voulions un hôtel accessible à pied à la Ville et proche de la mer tout en ayant la piscine et nous avons trouvé la perle rare , La chambre était très propre et tout le long de notre séjour nettoyer avec grave soins merci beaucoup au dames de ménage ????Le monsieur à l’accueil du restaurant est vraiment souriant il est extrêmement gentil , Le personnel de service On ne peut pas juger ni il ne parle ni il ne sourit ???? la cuisine est correcte il y a le choix pour tout le monde Petit déjeuner quand à lui très garnie et avec un très grand choix bravo , Je reviendrai avec ma famille dans cette hôtel je regarderai des beaux souvenirs nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une chambre au dernier étage séjour agréable nous reviendrons en famille

Muy buen Hotel


Hemos estado mi pareja y yo 5 días en el Monterrey y la verdad es que ha sido una muy grata sorpresa, parecia más un hotel de 4 estrellas que no de 3. Trato del servicio genial, la habitación cómoda y renovada, piscina pequeña pero bien y la comida sin haber mucha variedad es la mejor que he comido en cualquiera de los hoteles que he ido, calidad buenisima. Supongo que volveremos otra vez.

El hotel bien, la animación necesita volver a ser lo que fue


Es la segunda vez en 6 años que visitamos el hotel y hemos podido volver a disfrutar de su privilegiada ubicación, instalaciones bien conservadas y cocina deliciosa. Pero lo que convirtió la primera experiencia en memorable fue el carismático estilo de animación activa de José y su ayudante cuyo nombre no recuerdo que implicaba a mayores y pequeños, familias enteras, en actividades de todo tipo con un alto índice de participación entusiasta:, excursiones por los caminos de ronda norte y sur, toda clase de competiciones de dardos, bolos, lanzamiento de discos, karaoke, culminando con unas disparatadas galas nocturnas de entrega de diplomas a los ganadores, no necesariamente de las competiciones oficiales, podías resultar ganador sin saberlo de las categorías más rocambolescas. Culminando con la minidisco.

Good for families


The hotel was very well organized. You could always have a clean table for breakfast and your room was always cleaned up. Breakfast was very varied. There are many families with very young kids so expect noise in the afternoon. Also noises from neighbors.

Très bon qualité prix


Qualité prix ras il faudrait que le buffet de dessert soit plus varié et fait maison Seul point négatif le prix du parking 14€ par jour excessif par apport à des hôtels 4 étoiles ou nous avons payé entre 8 à 12 € maixi. Lhôtel en profite car impossible de trouver une place à lextérieur.

Bastante bien


Todo fue muy bueno, la limpieza, ubicación e instalaciones excelentes. Las dos camas individuales juntas resultan incómodas para dormir dos personas juntas puesto que se abren cada dos por tres y el precio por una noche es tal vez un poco excesivo pero supongo que fue por la poca antelación. Pero por lo demás perfecto!
