Beautiful Andalusia

Andalucia is the south east region of Spain and probably one of the most beautiful and most diverse places in terms of landscape  than any other in Spain. The Spanish place name Andalucía was introduced into the spanish language in the 13th century.

Some of the most visited cities and towns are within Andalusia including Cordoba, Granada, Ronda, Malaga, and Seville. The stunning coastal areas of the Costa del Sol, Costa de la Luz and Costa Tropicana are all in the area of Andalusia.

Huge national parks, mountains, forests, lakes, lush fields and of course the sea are all in abundance in Andalusia. One minute you could in the enjoy the view from the mountains surrounded by forests and the a few minutes later you could be sitting on a beach looking at the Mediterranean Sea or the Atlantic Ocean.

Apart from the spectacular scenery Andalusia is soaked by history and played an important role in the cultural diffusion throughout Europe. The most significant historical times was the occupation of Andalusia by the Moors (Arabs). They brought with them foods never seen before as well as spices and traditions that have survived the centuries until nowadays.

The Arabs introduced scented body oils, shampoo, sweet smelling soaps to this part of the world and the amazing architecture is something that keeps the visitor’s mind in constant motion.

Andalusia has many faces and it is a place that can offer so much to its visitors. It really is an ideal place for holidaying whether you are looking for the vacation on the beach or rural and city breaks.  The best thing is that you can combine it all.
